When you are in your 50s and living in Ukraine, you feel a sharp need to focus your energy where your expertise brings the greatest impact and holds true professional meaning

For years, I have watched business in Ukraine fight for survival while marketing all too often slides into imitation and harmful bustle: endless rehashing of trendy theories, shameless copying of one another, blatantly idiotic communications, and aggressive self-promotion - with a total detachment from what is truly valuable to people outside the industry bubble. Profitability drops, teams chaotically destabilize brands, blame the crisis, or change jobs. Meanwhile, the business quietly pays the price through the slow erosion of brand equity built over years, if not decades

Customer-Based Brand Equity (CBBE) is an intangible asset that cannot be destroyed physically. It lives in people’s minds as a network of strong associative memory structures. Accumulated brand equity is what protects margins against rising costs, shields the business from price wars, and provides the foundation for future growth

The professional world is finally fatigued with short-term performance marketing and is returning to systematic brand building as the pillar of brand equity. And what I know, have practiced for 30 years across 20 markets, and sense with deep professional intuition is strategic qualitative research to build, scale, and protect this equity

Recognizing this relevance, its value, and my own conviction prompted me to focus my work entirely on research dedicated to building and protecting brand equity

This kind of research does not work as a transactional one-off. That is why I no longer take on isolated projects as an ad-hoc vendor, choosing instead to focus exclusively on strategic partnership with a select circle of brands:

>> uncovering true brand DNA and distinctive brand assets (DBA);

>> calibrating the marketing mix to build brand power rather than dilute it;

>> shielding brand identity from team fatigue and erratic creative experiments;

>> maintaining a robust strategic framework that anchors your agile tactical decisions

Open to meaningful dialogue with those who continue building the future of their brands against all odds
